Bred on-site by crossing our two best-selling dahlias — ‘Café au Lait’ for the dinnerplate size and ruffled form, ‘Bishop of Llandaff’ for the deep amber-to-red color shift and near-black foliage. It took four growing seasons of selection to stabilize the cross before we released tubers into production.
